The last-place Atlanta Dream will have the top pick in the WNBA draft in April. The Washington Mystics received the second pick in the draft lottery, followed by the Chicago Sky, Minnesota Lynx and Phoenix Mercury, the league announced Tuesday. It’s the first time the draft lottery, which includes teams that didn’t make the playoffs, has gone according to odds in its eight-year history.

Sancho Lyttle was the first player chosen in the WNBA’s dispersal draft of Houston Comets players Monday, going to the last-place Atlanta Dream. The Washington Mystics chose Matee Ajavon with the second pick and the Chicago Sky took Mistie Willilams with the third selection during a conference call. Teams drafted in inverse order of their regular-season finish this past season.
